AM - 5.2 with Nikki. At the end of last week I actually started thinking it would be nice to run again and last night I was actually ready to set the alarm and get up and do it this morning. Great morning run with my wife.

PM - 6/39:39 I'm out of shape, which I expected. This was hard and my HR was pretty high but I need to work on getting back. I'm toying with the idea of a few races that are coming up so I need to slowly build fitness back up without wrecking myself again.

AM 10.55/1:14 The start was like "wow this hurts". Body not used to running. It's amazing what three weeks can do to you. Knee feels pretty wrecked but I'll probably just keep pushing through it like I have in the past. It usually just comes around after a few runs.

PM 5/37:07 Knee feels a little worse than normal. Body is just revolting at working out again. So right now it is mind over matter. At least my desire to run is back.

Easy morning run. Body feeling much better but I felt pretty rough last night. Hamstring is still tender so I really need to pay attention to that. Knee was a non factor.

AM - 9.8/1:11 Another easy run. Started out real slow and it honestly took 6 miles for my legs to even warm up. My hamstring is pretty tender so I didn't want any sort of pace until it was good and loose. Last four miles were in the 6:30 range and felt good.

PM - 15.7/45 Spinning; Hills workout. I opted to spin rather than run to allow my hamstring a better rest in between runs. I'll probably do this for a little while. Effort on this was pretty honest I kept my HR right in the target area and kept the cadence pretty steady even on the climbs.

Had to drop daughter off at dance right square in the middle of what would've been a nice morning run. Then I had to get to work early. I might try to sneak something in tonight.
