2 mile warm up 14:53

7.5  3x2mx800 I almost quit after 1 rep because my ankle hurt so bad but I thought "it going to hurt no matter what so I might as well try to get through it". I was able to finish up and it more or less just numbed up in the middle of the 2nd rep. 2 mile reps 5:45ap; active recovery 7:24ap.

2 mile cool down 14:02 Body calmed down completely and I wasn't even breathing hard a bit when finished. Ankle pretty blasted.

Brooks Launch (Black) Miles: 11.50

Hey you don't know me. I'm a friend of Ryan's (rye on the blog.) I have been following your blog since I heard you ran Boston and were a local runner. Just getting over an ankle issue myself. Ended up having to take some time off and lost some fitness. Not saying that is what you need to do. Just know what you are going through. Awesome race at Boston, congrats.

I go through this about once a year with tendonitis in my ankle. I can usually suck it up for 30 days or so until it gradually goes away. I do however whine like a little girl while I'm gong through it. I've cut my mileage and might start spinning on my recovery days. Thanks. It's good to see other local runners.
