8/56 Just ran easy again today. Tension between my shoulders again. Seems like I do this often, need to figure out what I do exactly to cause it.

Warm up 3-22:18

6/800/400   4.5-27:03 Better than last weeks reps but the last one was really hard to complete which means I'm probably doing them at about the right speed. I would like to start to feel stronger on these but still feel like it is going to take a little bit more time to build it back up.

Cool down 3-22:18

I prefer to do these workouts on a treadmill because by myself I know it would be almost impossible to maintain pace through the reps and floats. Overall good workout. My legs feel a little shot but nothing like they did last week after skiing.

10/67 Went to the running store to buy some supplements (Hammer Race Caps) and Marlin talked me into a pair of Hoka One's. Intial impression after one run, seem pretty comfortable, lots of cushion, good arch support. I can tell they are heavier than anything I've worn in sometime. Seems like they'll be good shoes to train in.

3-22:18 Warm up

7-43:57/6:17 Tempo miles. My legs were really flat before I started and I was really questioning whether or not to run this but around 5 miles I felt a good surge of energy and started to progress each half mile until I finished. Really felt good and I could have went more pretty easiliy.

3.5 just started an easy run on the basement TM when the guy who's doing my railing showed up. I figured I'd run 5 more after he left but it ended up taking a little too long and I decided to just chill out with my boys and go to bed early.
