10/66 Easier mid paced run. Just kind of relaxed. I'm having a really hard time with much motivation to do a long run lately. Seems like 12-13 is all I want. I really need to figure things out if I want to run a marathon in June, maybe just a half??

I still feel like I'm going to puke. Wow, that was a nasty work out. I remember eating these up last year but that was then.

9/63 Recovery run. I'm still pretty beat up from yesterday. My wife is sick so I'm praying I'm not coming down with it too.

3-22:18 warm up

8-50:38/6:18 seems like I'm handling my tempo runs a lot better than my speed workouts right now. This one felt pretty good and I even thought of going 9 but just decided to stay with 8 and not really push it and follow the plan I'm on. Thighs felt pretty shot at the end and felt like I couldn't do the cool down.

3-22:18 cool down. I guess if you're going to do this kind of mileage on a TM today was a good day. I just surfed basketball games the whole time and it really wasn't bad. After I finished this my legs actually felt better than at the end of the tempo. I'm convinced that cool downs and recoveries are equally as important as speed/tempo workouts.

7 real easy hill miles this morning. It was colder than I was expecting but that's what happens when you don't run outside in the morning for awhile. Legs are sore.

6 PM planned to go a little more but my legs just gave out around 5 so I decided 6 was more than enought. New shoes. I forgot how much I love running in Brooks Launch. Great shoe.

Morning run with the group. It's been awhile and it was good to run with them again. I could tell Lynette wanted to push the pace a bit so I paced her out a little it was nice to be able to help her with that. I drug Curt a little longer than he was thinking he was nice enough to oblige. Man I have some good running buddies.
