AM -16/1:41:51/6:22 Main portion of run 13/1:20:47/6:13 with last 2@6:00 pace. There is now a big discussion in the Hudman house on whether to run Boston or not. I'm getting a lot of heat from my wife to take the family. Her reasons - I'm healthy, running good, ready and doesn't want me running this high of mileage again to prep for it vs another race (two birds with one stone theory for her). My reasons - Expensive and not ready. I think I could run it reasonable well and might end up just trying to do a slower tempo/faster long run for it with my sights still set on Ogden. I saw stuff on it the other day including my bib number and really want to go. I need to make sure my hotel reservations are still good (I never canceled them but never received confirmation either). Looks like a decision will be made this week.

To run Boston or not that is the question.........

Tried my T7's today, thinking of using them in a marathon. Not sure, if I use them I might lose toenails and blister, Ogden maybe but not Boston if I go.

PM - 8.1 Easy shakeout at lunch. What a beautiful day.

Looks like I'm buying plane tickets today.

You are running well and if you have the support of the family and a desire to pick a goal race, I say go for Boston! It is a great experience one way or another and who knows what next year may bring. I think based on your recent training you are more ready than you think.

Awesome mileage again today. I agree with Jeff about you being ready for Boston, I would do it if I were you.
