AM - 6.6 Today as I was running I wondered "why do I run and do this to myself?" It did not feel good. Everything hurt. My chest is just wrecked now and my butt/hip strain that I've had for a week or so is now going into my hammy. Breathing was labored but that was more due to my chest hurting than anything else. Around 5.5 some guy turned out a 1/4 mile or so ahead of me and all of the crap I was dealing with went away. My pace dropped and stride felt better. Hammy was loosened up and I caught him with in a 1/2 mile and was feeling better. Got home and just wanted to sleep. It was a mentally draining run.

PM I was going to do some speed work but then decided to be lazy and fat and sit on my butt at lunch instead.

Have had a few big weeks. Listen to your body, take it easy and go into Ogden well rested. Hope it gets you out of the funk and hope your chest heals up soon.

Hang in there Craig and enjoy the taper

I wonder the same thing a lot of days but the alternative is boring and lazy. I agree with Jeff on big weeks lately, just get rested.

Cool new photo, is this the one we were talking about on the way home from Boise? Looks like it is the corner of Commonwealth and Hereford...nearly done!
