Did a tempo run with Nikki, getting her ready for Just Cuz. She did really good this morning and I hope she has a good run on Saturday.

Finally decided to sign up for some spring races. It has been up in the air with my daughters dance and trying to work around it. Signed up for the Ogden Half Marathon and will use it as a training run and to see how I'm doing for the Utah Valley Marathon. Now that I've signed up I can figure out a schedule and get to work.

Planned on going to the gym to do a TM workout, if I would've had better clothing probably would've went outside. 1-6:57, 2-6:27, 3-6:27, 4-6:18, 5-6:18, 6-5:55, 7-5:50  44:20/6:20. I would really like to get my turn over better so I might throw some shorter, faster bursts into my weekly workout. Overall felt good, was able to step up pace each time without much more effort.

Haven't done too many distance runs lately and I can sure tell. I've lost my stamina. Maintained a decent recovery pace but with the wind and little bit more mileage than I've been running it was some work.

With all my sleeping problems lately, I finally got some ambien and slept last night for the first time in awhile. Hopefully I can just take it for a few days and get my body back and stop.

Had the opportunity to do another medium run. What a beautiful day, cool but no wind, it was a treat. After two nights of sleep I feel like I have a lot more energy. Hopefully I can get off the sleeping medicine and be ok here in a week.

For some reason my left hip joint is starting to hurt a little. I think I might keep it a little shorter mileage wise the next couple of days and see how it feels.

For a short run this really worked me hard. Need a quick run so I went to the gym and did a TM workout. I'm still pretty blasted from yesterday and I tried to sleep last night without and aids but that didn't work to well and lack of sleep sure didn't help recovery.

Cool and windy made for a decent morning run. Grabbed the dog and just went this morning. I figure he needs more exercise than I'm giving him. That is one really good thing about him, is that he gets me out.

This was my Just Cuz go get my wife and get her to the finish line run. First 4 uphill miles went good. Held a good pace, just got told I was going the wrong way by everyone. Nikki was able to finish strong and it was a good last few miles with her.
