I haven't been running much lately and knew I wasn't in 5K shape. Overall I ran ok considering all things. Had no time goal in mind or pace. I went out and settled into an ok pace and just kind of cruised to the finish. Around mile 2 I passed a couple of guys and then just finished. Had zero kick at the end. I figure these are some of the fastest miles I've ran in a few months, if not longer. My wife and two of my daughters ran as well. My little girl Chloe (9) hasn't ran for a couple of months and did so well. I got her to kick so hard at the end when is all she could do was talk about puking. She's the only child so far that can push through the pain. I might have a great little training buddy for 5K's.

I think we were lucky it cleared off to run. It was great seeing you and Justin out on the course.
