Felt great to be outside today. Run felt easy. I wore my HR monitor for the first time in awhile, mainly because I wanted to see how my body reacted to taking a 5hr energy during a run (thanks Gray for that idea). After taking it HR spiked for about a mile then settled down and felt pretty good for the remaining portion of the run, so I might try it again on a longer run. 10.55/1:11

Getting really close to trying to buy a small farm and building on it. Excited about the possibilities but not about living in Dad's basement that long. The miles might start climbing to keep the sanity.

Trying to talk my kids into skipping school Friday to go skiing.....that's right I have to talk them into it, that never had to happen to me. I skipped without a second thought. It's not too early for a snow day, right???

These are my main skiing buddies for the year. Hadley (4), Gabe (6) and Chloe (9). Chloe is now trying to ditch me and Gabe tries to hit every jump he can.

Nathan or his old man Kim? I grew up with Nathan, he's a year younger than me so I know him pretty well.

I think we're fine just as long as Nathan doesn't reveal any of our youthful indiscretions. We grew up in the same ward and golfed together in high school. Curt would know him as well. Shelley's a pretty small town.
