First, my foot is starting to recover but everything else that comes with a bad foot is taking time to heal as well. I can't believe how a shoe can mess me up that quickly and how I'm so slow to realize it. Foot and ankle are still a little tender.

Second, I got my new shoes today right before I went running so I decided to take them on their initial test run. The PureFlow are supposed to be from their minimalist line and promote mid foot striking. I really couldn't tell much of a difference between these and my other shoes so the strike felt the same. I could tell they had a little more support than I'm used to on the outside of the insole  but were more or less neutral. Overall they felt good to run on and should be a good shoe. The big warning on them is slick surfaces so I'll make sure to keep them dry.

Today's run was just a pace run and I felt much better than Monday and Tuesday (foot probably made a difference) 9 @ 6:27 / 5 @ 6:17 for a total 14/1:29:54/6:25. I've hit and miss on feeling strong running this week. Legs were good throughout, energy a little down.

Great run, I hope your foot continues to feel better.
