Thigh is now ok after cow episode. Maybe that was just another way for me to rest the ankle a little more.

Slow progression run today starting a 6:58 finishing at 6:18.

Watched 9.79. I'm convinced Carl Lewis was on PED's as well. The difference between track and cycling was apparent at the end. Track chose not to go back and release results of later drug testing on samples taken years earlier. I'm still confused as to why the government likes to go back and spend millions of tax payer dollars to convict athletes, that at the time never tested positive. I do believe the number of olympic and high level athletes on PED is very high. Isn't that just society wanting stronger faster bigger?

Just trying to start base building again. More or less I really don't have much right now. My back was so tight to start with I could barely move. Popped my back and did a few pull up to see if I would loosen up but it didn't help much. Now I'm just hoping on walking in the morning.

I think I'm now starting to sound like an old man.

6:42/avg pace. A little shorter, trying not to push mileage up to high to quick. Legs are a bit blown up and tired but once I settled in after a couple of miles I felt I could've held pace awhile. Egged on a couple of high school kids while they were on the TM's next to me. I thought one might try to hold on for a few miles but was out after one. Fun talking to them, they are good kids.

Relaxed run. Legs were pretty tired and stiff as I started out so I eased into it and ran a pretty easy pace. Still trying to figure out life in Dad's basement. Leaning towards building but where now is the big question. There are a couple of spots one I like the location the other would work better for cattle and farming, so I really need to decide.

Shorter run because I forgot socks and felt blisters coming on. Progression run 5/32:30/6:30. Feeling better but slept horrible last night.

Short run with Nikki. Nothing exciting other than I ran 6 days in a row for the first time in forever. I don't think I've even approached 40 miles in a week for quite some time. This week has felt good to get back in the swing of things although it's real easy to sleep in now.
