I gorged on Oreo's last night.

8/53:26/6:40 Really didn't want to run today, so this was more a habit run than anything else. Didn't feel good/bad, just ran.

Made cookies with family last night. You know how that ended up.

Only had 30 minutes so this was short. I planned on mile repeats today but with the limited time I ended up doing a progressive incline run. 4.3/30 incline end at 4.5. Almost made me puke but since I ended up skipping lunch there was nothing there. Read a great excerpt on good/bad calories and put high quality stuff in the body. Stuff I know but right now the cookies and junk keep calling and I keep answering. I guess the quality of training might be low until the diet changes.

A rep brought doughnuts down this morning....I somehow managed to stay disciplined, passed them up and ate a salad for lunch. My stomach has decided to revolt and still is calling for sweets.

7/51:18/7:20 Still sick but somehow managed to get to the gym against lack of motivation. I have this crappy sore throat and raspy voice. It almost seems like I'm swallowing blood half the time. Kept this run very mild because I didn't want to breathe at all.

Today's fuel so far .... an orange, glazed doughnut and peppermint gel.

Still sick. Really had to focus on breathing during this run. My legs felt good but lack of food in the body was tough. I just haven't felt like eating and can barely talk.

8.25/53:49/6:30 progression run. Last mile @6:00. Ended up counting the last minute to finish and take my mind off of how lousy I felt.

Happy End of the World Day.

I closed on my farm this morning. I now own 33.56 acres of southeastern Idaho farm land. Now to figure out house plans.

Got up this morning, ready to go and my wife starts talking to me so I ask her if she wanted to go with me. Amidst complaining she tells me to get her stuff ready and she would go. I knew where this was going. She was going to complain if she did or didn't go so I was in a hopeless position. 45 minutes ????? later we were out the door. As I was messing with my Garmin she just took off. When I caught up I proceeded to get ripped for a mile or so about everything I'm not doing and how horrible our "living" situation is. Mile two was more or less in silence. Mile three she began to become nice again. Pretty enjoyable conversation from here until I dropped her off around 6.5. Decided I was feeling good and did a loop I though would be around 4.5 ended up progressing down to around a 6:17 pace for the last mile which blew me away. I figured I was running around a 7-7:30, maybe it was just the release of the morning tension, anyways it felt good.
